Diamond Platinumz is the only Artist from East Africa thanks got the chance to be nominated to be part of BET Awards. This comes after he was nominated for the Best International Act. Something that his fans from all over have been voting for him and wished him all the best ahead of the awards.
Diamond has however wowed his fans from Africa after his Maasai outfit that he decided to show up in with at the Red Carpet in the Live BET Awards. His outfit shows that clearly he decided to honour his culture and couldn't dress like all the other artists dressed like in what seems like to be clothes borrowed from the Western Culture. But he decided to dress up like that to honour the African in him and also to represent the Swahili Nation. Netizens couldn't help but racted saying that even if he fails to get the award, then he should at least be awarded for the best Traditional dress . Here are some of the reactions. What do you think about the outfit?
