Kenyan celebrities have a habit of exposing their dirty linen in public when things do not go well with them. Celebrity couples and lovers tend to expose and attack each other on social media the minute a disagreement erupts among them.
The current scandal involving professor Hamo and commedeine Jemutai is a clear example of celebs exposing their private affairs once they seem to disagree in private. Jemutai would have sought legal help to seek child support from him as the recent scandal might take a negative toll on both their careers and their brands.
This trend is annoying as Kenyans have their own more pressing personal issues to deal with and are not expressing them on social media to seek public sympathy.
The current pandemic has hit most people and putting a meal on the table is becoming a struggle. Asking for help from already helpless Kenyans is not practical at all.
