Life does not stop teaching us lessons on daily basis that should keep us going and not give up. Here is a story of an award winning Kenyan's top medical practitioner Dr Stella Bosire. She is one of the notably famous doctors in the country who works to help people who have been affected with social injustices for persons infected with HIV/AIDS.

She has come from a long way and nobody could liken her with such a prestigious position during her days. She endured a lot to climb at this peak and nothing would stop her from achieving more. She once said that her life was miserable as she faced many challenges such drug peddling that almost caused her education life. Dr Stella was chased away from school on numerous due to her habit of being drug addict.
She went through Kibra Primary School and did her KCPE under special supervision by police officer due to her notorious behavior. This could not stop her from scoring good grades that gave her the chance to join secondary school. At this stage, she used to wash clothes for her fellow students and send to her poor mother who was duped 'madwoman' by her villagemate.
She preformed marvellously in her final secondary exams and this opened a hefty of opportunities for her. She started working as house girl in order to make ends meet. At times, she used her knowledge teach the children of her employer during her free time. They happened to perform in those subjects which Stella used to teach and this has captured the attention of her employer who decided to give her Ksh 5000 and advised to go back home. She accepted and returned home.
Her employer who was working with an NGO at that time connected her to an Italian journalist got interested to her life story. She recorded a video that went viral and attracted willing sponsors who wanted to pay for University fees.
After her University level which she finished on University of Nairobi, Stella has established her self as an renowned medical personnel who is out to help the downhearted people. We wish her all the best.
