People expect their life to change whenever they start earning from any form of employment. However, the type of life you would love will greatly depend on the amount you earn from your job. But this was different with a TV personality who used to earn big but still stayed in servants quarters.
She was one of the most renowned journalist in the country although she was not a journalist by profession. She used works with NTV during her tenure. She was a hard-working woman and this made her earn six figure salary from the media house. Doreen Majala was a trained lawyer but her prowess saw her through the media industry.
The idea of living in servant quarters while taking home huge salary was based on saving and achieve her financial goals. She was able to become a millionaire by the age of 28 years.
What motivated Doreen to concentrate in saving was that the fact she was raised from a humble background. Even in school, she used to cover distance of 2 kilometer daily to school.
Currently, she runs a company specialising in custom-made dispute resolution which she formed with her two colleagues who are also lawyers. We wish her all the best.
