Born in Zanzibar islands in 1963, Khadija Kopa is one of the most well-known musicians in Tanzania's entertainment industry.
Khadija was married and blessed with four children, one of them is celebrated singer Zuhura Othman Soud aka Zuchu.
As a musician and a mother, she is a mentor to many. This has been seen through the post she shared online where one Mary Mussi showered her with praises, calling her an icon, fan's darling, Queen of taraab among other names.
She appreciated Kopa for producing quality songs that have withstood the test of time and contain good messages.

She ended by asking Tanzanians to support the legendry singer so that she can be able to continue entertaining and educating the masses through her songs.
Reacting to Mary's post, Khadija showed her gratitude, reporting how she was unable to control her emotions upon receiving the statement.
While confirming her love for her, Khadija also appreciated those who have been supporting her and her daughter, Zuchu.
