Sauti Sol are arguably the best boy band in Africa racking up major honours in the music industry across Africa and the entire world. The boys' band was formed in 2005 comprising of Bien Aime, Savara, Polycarp and Chimano. The four grew up together and attended the same high school.

The popular band surprised many yesterday when they announced they are going to venture into solo projects through Citizen TV Kenya official Twitter page. In a letter from the quartet, the band announced the launch of Alone-Together project that will enable them go solo as they herald the beginning of their careers as solo artists. This puzzled netizens who were afraid the band was on the brick of disintegration which was not the case as per Bien Aime.

The project will be followed closely by release of solo projects by each of the quartet. Bien will kick off the group's Alone-Together phase with a solo song Bald men Anthem ft Jazz Maestro Aaron Rimbui. Polycarp will follow with Father studies, Chimano with Heavy is the Crown and Savara will close with Savage Level.
