Rigathi To Reward Young Lady Who Gave Him His Nickname Riggy G

Lifestyle content creator Ivy Chelimo has been guaranteed that she will have a share of Kenya's deputy president Ksh 1.22 million salary.

In an interview with Citizen TV, the deputy president of Kenya, Rigathi Gachagua, said that Chelimo gave him a melodious moniker, to help Kenyans say his name without difficulty.

Further, Riggy G revealed that he has asked his sons to track down the lady so that they can have dinner with him together.

"The young lady who decided that Rigathi Gachagua is a little bit difficult and not melodious, we need to give him the name Riggy G. To encourage our young people, I took up the name. I have told my sons to look for that girl to come we have dinner. I want to encourage that young girl. I would see what I can do for her so that from my salary I can be able to boost her a little bit to be able to do something," he said.

In a past interview with NTV, Chelimo disclosed that she came up with Rigathi's moniker during the televised presidential debate, but it went viral during the inauguration ceremony.

"That was me then but I was like let me just mention him because he was winning the debate anyway," she said.
