Mary Wanjiru alias Ciru wa GP is a Kikuyu gospel artist who sings in her vernacular language Kikuyu, she is at his late 30s year old because she was born in the year 1983 in Kiambu county. Her mother Jane Njeri was selling illegal liquor while Ciru acted as her mother's watch Lady look when the police were about to approach.Her Mother did this to cater for her family of 3 children while Ciru was a second born.
About her singing career, she started singing while still young, she was mostly being inspired by songs of a secular artist Simon Kihara alias as Musaimo, but later God transformed her to a gospel artist.
About her education Ciru was GP went to Puerto primary school which is in Kiambu county, after her primary education she moved to her uncle's home which at Githurai where she fully recognized her musical talent.
She became popular when she recorded her first song which went viral.At that time she was working at Wilson air port, but she had to leave the job at the air port to market her song.
About her marital status, Ciru is married to Anthony Thuo who is a talented pianist, both weeded at Deliverance Church. Together they are blessed with children but of her kids died from natural causes.
