Acne also called as pimples is a skin condition that occurs when hair follicles plug with oil and dead skin cells. Acne is most common in teenagers and young adults. Acne develops when sebum, an oily substance that lubricates your hair and skin and dead skin cells plug hair follicles. Bacteria can trigger inflammation resulting to severe acne.

Symptoms of acne/pimples range from uninflamed blackheads to pus filled or large, red and tender bumps kn the face. This often makes teenagers uncomfortable because of how the face looks when one has severe acne.
