Grief has engulfed residents of Busia following the sudden death of a high-school deputy principal while returning to duty.
According to reports from Citizen TV, The Sisene High School in Budalangi brotherhood experienced pain when Simiyu Nyundo Odokano, the deputy principal, passed away unexpectedly after a fatal car accident.
Mr. Simiyu was a passenger on a motorcycle when it collided with a cyclist, as written on Citizen Digital Facebook page.
The tragic incident was confirmed by the head of the Butula sub-county police department, Jacob Chelimo, who disclosed that the body had been sent to a morgue in Siaya for burial arrangements and further accident investigations.
Following the Citizen TV article, Mr. Simiyu was remembered as a committed educator who consistently gave the hopeless hope.
