It has been exactly three weeks since the form ones were received at their respective high schools across the country. The Ministry of Education announced that May 11 was the last day for form students to report to their high school.
But for some different reasons this was not easy for some students. But the main reason is the lack of school fees which is the main factor.
Today morning, Rift News Media published a story where a girl who scored 379 marks from Baringo county had failed to join high school due to lack of school fees. In the story Catherine Jepkogei Biwwot scored 379 marks in KCPE and secured a chance to join Sironga Girls High School in Nyamira county, but she has not reported due to lack of school fees.
This afternoon, the girl has gotten a sponsorship who will sponsor her through her four years course in high school. According to the source, Mogotio constituency United Democratic Alliance UDA nominee Honourable Kiborek Reuben has agreed and promised to sponsor her.
