Two grade eight students drowned while on a school outing in Theta Dam Gatundu, South Kiambu County, at the age of 14, prompting a search operation.
According to reports, the students left their rehearsals on Friday, November 25, 2022, to go on the school outing.Students at ComeJuu Premier Academy in Githunguri Kiambu were scheduled to take their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams on Monday, November 28, 2022.
According to the institution's headteacher, 60 students from Class 8 and Grade 6 were taken to Kinale Forest to break up the monotony after a long and hectic day.
