In the Republic of Kenya, the Ministry of Education and The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development is in the verge of transition of the old 8.4.4 education system to now a new 2.6.3.3.3 system which is currently underway as the Junior Secondaries are waiting to enroll the pioneer class come 30th January 2023.
Delivering the good news to parents, the Education Cabinet Secretary Honourable Ezekiel Machogu has made it clear that the Government will now pay Ksh 22,244 for each secondary school student and Ksh 15,000 for each Junior Secondary school student per year.
