The government of Kenya acknowledges all public days that are in the calendar. A number of Kenyans celebrated a great and special day, Mashujaa day in various parts of our country. It is really an important day since we remember and appreciate our Kenyan Warriors who managed to rescue our country from the hands of colonies.
The President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta celebrated Mashujaa day at Kirinyaga county. While addressing people during Mashujaa day, directed that the ministry of education is required to build more than 10,000 classrooms. The new classes will be used to accommodate over one million learners who are set to join junior secondary on 2023. The President released 8 billion to cater for construction of the classes.
On the other hand, the ministry of education is on stronger foundation on Teachers since it ordered all primary Schools Teachers who have a P1 certificate to go back for diploma. This therefore shows that the government is well equipped to change from the 8:4:4 system to CBC .
