Education: Busy Week For Teachers As Students sit Their Exams For Term Three Holiday Break

We are now at the edge of closing the third term for the Kenyan schools. We have just come from the half term some few weeks ago and now teachers are preparing for the end term three exams. Indeed this time round, teachers have worked extra harder as they need to cover the syllabus, there are co-curriculum activities that they need to get involved into as well. The Corona virus pandemic did cause a negative implications on the education sector.

With the holiday set to begin in 19 days to come, many of the school teachers are now busy setting and printing the exams. Having in mind that we currently have form three to are to join form four come next month, form three are now doing full papers to prepare them in form four.

These schools has already prepared the exams timetable to suit them for the term three closure of schools on time.

Really it will be busy weeks of teachers because they will need to set exams, invigilate them, mark exams, record the results, analysis the exams and then release the results. After that they won't have enough resting time as they will resume the term one after one week that is on 26th July.

These people deserve more than a week to rest. Should the one week holiday be extended? Drop your view
