Professor Dr.Dr. Moni Wekesa journey of becoming a teacher starts way back as a young boy when he had a dream of becoming a professor.
Professor Moni, who according to his portfolio is a learned lawyer with two doctorate degrees in two different academic fields, two different master's degrees and bachelor’s degrees in two different fields.
Dr.Dr Moni was born in Kakamega County where he later attended his primary and secondary education in schools located in Kakamega county before proceeding for his first degree at the University of Nairobi in 1978 where he pursued a degree in Bachelors of Law attaining first class honors.
He later went to Germany where he did MSc and PhD in Sports Medicine in the year 986, Cologne, Germany,. He furthered his education between 1999 and 2010 where he pursued Bachelors, Masters and PhD in Law at the University of Nairobi.
Dr.Dr Moni education experienced is vast. What has left many talking is the revelation that Prof Moni is a Sunday school teacher, who has been attending to the young faithful's since 1976 up to date. To him being a teacher of both young and teenagers at university and church is one of the noble responsibilities he has been mandated with.
He further revealed that as a lecturer he can never and will never start his lectures without a word of prayer in his class.
He also has vast knowledge in the field of sports as from his CV most of his articles, dissertations and seem to be inclined in sports field.
However, when asked of his strengths according to fields he has engaged into especially in the field of physical education and Law, he revealed that both fields are equal but clarified that law field takes the day and insisted that he fully qualified to teach the both as he has spent equal time in the fields.
