As stated in every years'calendar, on 5th October is set as World Teachers day to Celebrate their great work towards transforming young minds to future responsible leaders. Kenyatta University as known for lifelong learning to produce Excellent Teachers were not left behind to celebrate this great day for Teachers.
On their Preparation, the administration through Dean calls for cancellation of class for all education students to attend to the Celebration which was accompanied by colourful procession of Administrative police band from Kahawa Garrison.
" This is to inform all the students in the school of Education and life long learning that the lectures scheduled on Wednesday, 5th October, 2022 between 8.00am and 2.00pm have been cancelled to enable them participate in the World Teacher's Day Celebrations." Stated in a press statement released to the Educational students.
The event which was funded by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) was witnessed by a massive attendance by Educational students after their exception from classes to attend the celebration.
