Mr Fredrick Taabu the school's headteacher together with Mr Timon Ogolla the Board of Management (BOM) chair on Monday said that five girls collapsed in class six after they were possessed by the devil spirits.
The latest development comes few days after a story emerged that the girls were lured by one of their teacher within the learning institution to join the iiluminati group that practises evil spirits.
The school headteacher called upon the ministry of education and education cabinet secretary Professor George Magoha to visit the school and investigate the matter.
Nyamunda Primary is located in Suna West Sub County
The primary school is registered and qualified to teach pupils from Grade 1 using the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), up to Standard 8.
Nyamunda Primary school has a total of 205 pupils. It is position 16590 in ranking among the most populated Primary schools in Kenya.
Out of the 205 pupils attending their basic education at Nyamunda Primary School in Migori, 108 are boys and 97 are girls.
