Teaching profession has over long time been faced with major challenges. The employed teachers have always been on strike for salary increase motive since they are lowly paid. Consequently, the teaching profession has flooded and due to that many graduates are out there unemployed and suffering. Despite the government through Teacher Service Commission trying to solve this issues has not been successful.
A Kenyan Teacher Zeth Matara has confidently claimed that TSC has failed in playing it's mandate. Mr Matara further claimed that TSC was not fully playing it's role as reported on Tuko news. Matara oversee that there is need for TSC to work in employment criteria and he believes that he fits in that position from the lengthy letter to Uhuru.
Consequently, he pointed out a request to be appointed as the TSC commissioner since he is a teacher and understands the challenges teachers are going through on ground.
