Nyambaria National High School.
This school is sponsored by SDA (Seventh-Day Adventist) Church. It was founded in the year 1966 as a small school with few infrastructures and student population of only 60. Today the school has grown tremendously and has a total student population of approximately 2200.
Nyambaria boys is headed by Mr. Boaz Oiyo Owino who is the current principal. Mr. Boaz Owino has served in this school since 2018 to date. This school has kept impressive academic performance records since the introduction of 8-4-4 curriculum in Kenya. It shines both in local and national examinations. For instance, in 2020 KCSE examination Nyambaria boys recorded a mean score of 8.015 with several students scoring above C+ (plus). Apart from excelling in academics, this school is also known to perform well in co-curriculum activities like soccer, athletics, basketball, volleyball, tennis and rugby.
