Thousands of TSC Teachers to be Given Certificates of Registration Ahead of Biometric Enrollment

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) will now issue thousands of its teachers with certificates. These certificates will be given to teacher whom at the moment don't have Certificates of Registration due to loss or being not sent to address given on registration.

According to sources the Commission will ensure all teachers working for the nation are issued with the registration document which is a key requirement for the exercise. In near future due to continues changes in TPAD teachers might be required to upload such documents regularly.

Sources have revealed that TSC has planned to give out several registration certificates countrywide starting from October 2021 after a report from the piloting exercise showed only thirty two percent of teachers had their Registration Certificates during the exercise.

On 15th February 2021 TSC issued a circular blocking teachers from visiting Upper Hill offices for enquiries. This means all issues should be solved within subcounty and county offices. Only those who have been referred will be served at headquarters.
