The Member of National Assembly for Vihiga constituency Hon Ernest Kivai Kagesi who is a first-term MP on the Amani National Congress -ANC Party has put smiles on the faces of his constituents and especially school-going children.
The MP has affirmed that the water Project put up at Mahanga primary school will serve the school and the community around who have in the past had to walk long distances to fetch water from the streams.
"The Mahanga Water Project water project aims at serving the Mahanga Primary School, the community around and the Mahanga Market.
So far service temporary taps have been mounted at the school gate to serve the community and at the Mahanga stage serving the market.
On completion, there shall be a water kiosk at the market managed by the market committee and a 4 tap water point at the primary school." Hon Ernest Kagesi
