The Teachers Service Commission is an independent commission under ministry of education that has a mandate of employing, promoting and also may demote teachers depending on circumstances or an offence committed.
Today, the ministry of education through the state department of early learning and basic education which is currently implementing it's reforms, has announced it's plans to involve serving teachers who will assist them in the process. Through its principal secretary Julius Jwan therefore, it has invited applications from qualified and serving teachers with TSC who are supposed to fill the 130 vacant positions for principal quality assurance and standards officers. Therefore, those teachers who are qualified need to read the requirements and duties then make their online applications by 7th June 2021.
This is good news to current serving TSC teachers especially those senior graduates in job group M as its one of the requirement for appointment. And if all goes well then it will be a kind of a promotion to them as they will be a job group higher and also a a way of motivating the qualified ones.
