The Kenyan government has established new rules and guidelines that must be followed during this year's national examinations for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, which are scheduled to begin on November 28.

All candidates registered to take the national examinations for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education this year have been informed by the Kenyan government's Ministry of Education of what they must do at precisely 8am each day during the examination period.

Regardless of when the exam will be administered, the Kenyan government has ordered all KCPE and KCSE candidates to arrive at their accommodations by 8 am every day during the examination period.

According to the Kenyan government, starting at 8am will significantly reduce exam malpractice, such as cheating, during the course of the national examinations.
