Just in: One Teacher and Five Students Arrested After Popular High School Goes on Strike

Over the last few days, cases of school burnings in the country have been on the rise as undisciplined students find ways to torch dormitories with each waking day.

Strikes have also been witnessed and several students have also been taken into custody as the Ministry of Education tries to find a way to ensure that these fires are mitigated.

Earlier this day, Chesamisi High School in Bungoma County students went on a strike that saw students destroy property.

The unruly students even went as far as to go to a nearby highway where they hang precariously pausing as a danger even to motorists.

According to the latest reports, a teacher has been arrested in connection to the strike and this is the first instance where a teacher has been taken into custody.

Five students have been arrested as well by participating in the protest that saw hundreds of thousands of shillings worth of property destroyed.

The school in Bungoma County has been closed indefinitely following the strike that happened earlier on today.
