The Prestigious National School In Nairobi That Obama's Brother, Malik Attended

President Barack Obama will go down in the books of history as the first African-American to be elected as a the Head of State of the United States of America. His father, Barack Obama Senior had multiple wives and among them was Keziah Obama, mother to Malik Obama.

It goes without saying that Malik is the half brother to Obama. But have you ever asked yourself about the academic background of the American-Kenyan politician, and more particularly the secondary school that he attended?

Lenana School, formerly Duke Of York School is the learning institution that he attended for his secondary education. The prestigious national school is located in Nairobi County, more particular Dagoretti South Constituency.

He joined the school three years after it was opened for students of African descent, the year was 1973. After completing studies here he proceeded to the University of Nairobi where he graduated with a degree in Accounting.

Among the notable alumni of Lenana are Hon Sakaja, Hon Abdulswamad Nassir, CS Joe Mucheru, Senior Counsel Philip Mirror, just to name but a few.
