Students from Kirinyaga University are looking for one of their own after he went missing last Friday under unclear circumstances. The student identified as Wilfred Kipleting who is a first year student was last seen around a local shopping center at around 6pm.[Photo Courtesy]
Through more information was not shared about him, they claimed that he was mentally okay and therefore, they have urged anyone who might have seen him to reach them through a number that they had shared.
It still remains unclear why cases of students going missing is currently increasing. We have heard several cases where some students are getting lost under circumstances that can not be explained. Some of those who go missing usually get kidnapped or others just decide to go into hiding.
Some students are stressed up due to unbearable life in school and therefore, they will try to evade learning to find money to survive in school. Most students have alot of expectations on Higher Education Loans Board and if they do not receive their loans on time, they will develop stress and in turn have some thoughts of escaping.
