Over the previous years, KCSE exam candidates have been revising their higher institutions of learning choices. Therefore, it's good news to the 2021 KCSE candidates as well just after a directive was issued by the Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha. For that matter, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its portal to allow the 2021 KCSE exam candidates to revise their university and college choices.
According to Prof. Magoha, the revision of courses will be accessible in the KUCCPS application portal which will remain open from 20th May, 2022 to 2nd June, 2022. This will give opportunity for the 144,466 candidates with a min grade of C+ and above in just concluded 2021 KCSE examinatio to apply for degree programmes in the 70 Kenyan universities.
CS George Magoha equally, urged those candidates who did not meet the university entry grade, C+ precisely to take into consideration applying for courses in Teachers Training Colleges (TTCs) and TVET institutions. He emphasized that, those performed poorly eligible for diploma courses to apply for craft certificate and artisan certificate courses which are offered in 190 government institutions in Kenya.
