CS Machogu Visits This School in Kisii Whose All 2022 KCSE Candidates Got a University Grade

Ezekiel Ombaki Machogu is a former member of parliament for Nyaribari Masaba in Kisii county, a position he served until 2022 when he decided to throw his weight behind the Kisii county governor seat on a United Democratic Alliance ticket, the governor seat was hotly contested and he lost to Paul Simba Arati of the Orange Democratic Movement.

Ezekiel Machogu was luck enough to be appointed as the cabinet secretary for education by William Ruto, he had used the UDA party to run for presidency and he campaigned for the head of state.

Today there has been a Thanksgiving ceremony at Mobamba high school which is found Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii county. The school had done very well in the 2022 Kenya certificate of secondary education and all the students who sat for KCSE exams in the school attained the minimum grade of C+ required to join the university.

Ezekiel Machogu while speaking from the school has announced that the national government has a plan to send money to junior secondary schools and senior secondary schools by next week so that the schools can run without the financial constraints that face schools.

The cabinet secretary has also broken silence on the wrangles that have been happening in Kisii town where by there have been two factions of boda boda riders who are supporting different politicians and they have injured one another and even taken lives of other riders. Machogu has said that the wrangles must come to an end and he does not want to hear that there are people who are behind the wars, he says they are one people and they should not be used to disrupt peace and even kill people.
