A viral video captured by Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) camera on 5th January 2023 went viral yesterday on Thursday 12th January 2023. The viral video is of a female examiner who was caught stealing clothes belonging to her colleagues at Alliance Girls High School during the marking of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams.
The female examiner was caught stealing face towels, undergarments and blouses. The security officers at Alliance Girls High School arrested the female culprit and alerted other female examiners of the incident who came and paid a glance. The owners of the clothes stolen also came and were given time to confirm their belongings behind the girl's dormitory.

The captured KCSE examiner was reported to be a teacher of Kiswahili from one of the top secondary schools in the country. CCTV cameras are so useful in identifying criminal cases that would otherwise be very difficult to identify.

The Alliance Girls High School incident comes barely one month after a police officer was captured by CCTV footage ransacking bags of teachers and stealing money from KCSE examiner at Kimulot High School in Bomet County.
