There has been an increased number of road accidents over the recent past and most of the time during the festive season. Earlier today, a school bus which had carried an unknown number of teacher was involved in a grisly accident and many lives were lost during that occurence.
This accident happened in Josa, a blackspot in Taita county and the teachers are said to be coming from a funeral, before the bus lost control and overturned thereby causing the accident. The teachers belong to Memon School and they were coming from the funeral of one of their fellow collegue.
There are reports on social media that revealed several bodies were seen on the road close to the site of the accident but none established an exact number of fatalities. We should be careful on the roads at all times even though most of these accidents are not caused by the carelessnesss on the roads.
