BREAKING: JKUAT Seal Partnership With South African University

Jomo Kenyatta University Of Agriculture And Technology will now be competing globally after reaching a partenship with a top South African university.

The top tertiary insititution signed partnership with Central University of Technology based in South Africa earlier this week.

Speaking during the event the Vice Chancellor stated that JKUAT is guided by a clear vision as a University of Global Excellence in Training,Research,Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Development and as a University, we have always championed interdisciplinary collaborative research across industry and academia,” said the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Victoria Wambui Ngumi.

She was speaking when she met a delegation from the Central University of Technology (CUT), South Africa, who had visited Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) for consultations on a possible collaboration between the two institutions, January 24, 2022.

The discussions held by both JKUAT and CUT were geared toward mutual interests in several areas, including student/staff exchange, technology and innovation sharing in selected disciplines among others.

The partnership will mean that some JKUAT programmes will now be taught in South Africa and at the same time they can exchange lecturers and students between the two universities.

JKUAT is well known as one of the leading institution offering scientific and Technology courses and has in many occasions been globally recognized.
