Secondary & Primary Schools Classroom Teachers to Begin Another Training Between 8th & 11th June

The Teachers Service Commission is fully determined to make the teachers well equipped with knowledge. It has ensured that the classroom teachers together with the school administrators get well trained incase there are some adjustments to be made by the Commission.

The changes in education system from the outgoing 8.4.4 system to the incoming 2.6.3.3.3 system is seen as a major game changer in the acquisition of the skills by the learners. The practical skills expected from the system are set to greatly help the learners in boosting self employment opportunities in the country. The students have been seen to be concentrating on the national examinations rather than the skills acquired during learni ngs.

The teachers across the country just ended the cbc trainings on Friday 3rd.This saw atleast 90,000 primary school teachers get trained at their usual zonal meeting points. The trainings have come in handy for the teachers since there are challenges by majority in understanding the changes.A section of the CBC group C trainees at Ogango Mixed Secondary School,Ndhiwa Homabay county on 2/6/21

TSC has digitised its services. The teachers had opened their emails for quick direct information delivery to teachers.Besides that, the current teachers have to be digital due to the incorporation of ICT in the CBC curriculum.
