
The ministry of education in line with the government has been operating in a bid of stimulating effective learning process in schools. The government of Kenya introduced free free primary and secondary education where parents doesn't have to pay alot of money for their children to access education.
It's relief to parents in terms of paying school fees following the bold move by the government. As per the reports, the government has paid school fees for 20,000 students. The move will facilitate effective learning among those students.
However, parents have been complaining over the rise in school fees accusing school administrators for the school fees rise. Parents asked the government to consider reducing school fees as some can't afford to pay due to tough economic times.
In response to parents claim, the cabinet secretary of education Prof George Magoha told parents to prepare to be ready in taking their hands to their pockets to pay more due to school fees rise.
