Top KCPE candidates are privileged to chose the best national school to pursue their secondary education.
We have made an analysis of where the top candidates are schooling since 2020 to the just concluded 2022 examination.
In the 2020 KCPE, Mumo Faith, who was the best candidate with 433 marks was admitted to the Kenya High School.
In 2021, the top candidate, Magata Bruce Mackenzie, got 428 marks, a drop of 5 marks compared to 2020 results. He joined Alliance High School. He was followed closely by George Morris Otieno, who scored 425 KCPE marks and was also admitted to the same school.
In 2022, Lewis Otieno Omondi, who scored 431 marks out of the total 500, schooled at St Peter’s Mumias Boys Primary School was placed at Alliance High School. Fwaro Makokha Robinson from Christ the King School, tied at position one and was also placed at Alliance High School.
Education CS released the 2022 placement on Monday, 16. KCSE results are expected to be announced this week, the CS earlier said.
