Latest New From Magoha on School Reopening.

Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha together with the Cabinet Secretary for health Mutahi Kagwe have called on and pleaded with the court to turn down a case by one parent, Joseph Aura who had taken the Education ministry to court to allow schools Reopen in September.

Joseph Aura who is a parent of three school going children had filed a case to the court to allow immediate opening of schools for Kenyan children. Some Schools have been using virtual and digital systems of learning. Mr Joseph argument was that the Kenyan child is best favored with the class learning type of education.

The Ministry of Education together with the ministry of Health are working hard to come up with a proper way of resuming learning in various instititutions across the Country.

Through the Covid 19 Educational Response committee measures and Protocols are being put in place to allow smooth resumption.

CS Magoha has requested the court to drop the case by Joseph Aura a parent who was seeking to allow school reopen in September. Which means that September Reopening will hardly or barely materialise. The CS called Mr Aura's allegations baseless.
