Covid 19 is still becoming a threat worldwide despite of the availability of vaccines. This pandemic has affected the country's economy leading to increase in prices of commodities and also people loosing jobs. As Schools are remaining with few weeks to close down for the end term holiday the positivity rate is increasing. Today 185 people have tested positive for the disease from a sample of 2,047 people tested in the last 24 hours. This has increased the positivity rate to 9.0% compared to yesterday's rate which was at 7.3%.
From the 185 positive cases 171 are Kenyans while 14 are foreigners. But good news is that 1,186 patients have recovered from the disease today with 1,102 from home based care. Also unluckily, 15 patients have been succumbed to the disease.
Do you think the positivity curve in the country is going to flatten soon? Give your opinions on my comment section. Thanks for reading my article share with family and friends. Have a good day.
