On The Move: Big Blow To CBC As Havi Moves To Court To Stop Its Implementation

Implementation of the newly developed Centered Based Curriculum(CBC) has really been facing a lot of challenges since its proposal. The Curriculum has been seen as a very expensive one compared to the previous one.The President of Law Society of Kenya(LSK) Nelson Havi has promised to go to the court to stop the implementation of CBC.

In an assertion, Havi uncovered that he would document an appeal one week from now, contending that instruction in Kenya should not to be costly, wasteful and incapable. 

His goal came after a segment of guardians created a commotion, blaming schools for requesting that they purchase costly books and giving tasks that required assets. 

"I have heard your cries guardians, gatekeepers and instructors. The request testing CBC will be documented in court one week from now." 

"The training framework in Kenya ought not be a costly, wasteful and ineffectual test with our youngsters and their future similar to our initiative," Havi expressed. 

Previous Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary General, Wilson Sossion, has been cited various occasions saying that CBC is a fake framework that takes steps to invert the schooling gains accomplished by the country. 

Sossion contended that the educational program was being carried out in an amateurish way and educators were thinking that it is hard to adjust since they had not gotten sufficient preparing. 

He added that the new CBC arrangement of instruction was a blackmailer plot that had gouged guardians' pockets by constraining them to purchase superfluous learning materials.
