The Kenya National Examinations Council KNEC, issued the steps that will ensure that that the national examinations, that is the kenya certificate of primary school kcpe and the kenya certificate of secondary school KCSE examinations in 2021 follows the schedule of the examinations in Ministry of Education.
The Kenya National Examinations council KNEC, Chief executive officer CEO David Njengere confirmed that the council has begun educating teachers on how to mark the tests.
Also, the administration would strictly follow the Ministry of Health’s directives on the Covid-19 epidemic to avoid further disruptions to the school calendar.
The kenya certificate of primary school, KCPE exam will be held between March 4, 2022 and March 9, 2022, according to the Ministry of Education. Exams for the kenya certificate of secondary school KCSE, on the other hand, will be held between February 28 and April 1, 2022.
Mr.David Njeng’ere revealed that 1,225,693 candidates have registered for the KCPE 2021 exams, while 831,026 students have registered for the KCSE tests this year.
Moreover, The Education cabinet secretary CS professor George Magoha and education stakeholders have been conducting a door-to-door mop-up campaign to track down all students who have not yet been reported to secondary schools.
