Bad News to PI Teachers As TSC Is Set To Lock Out Those With Certificate Qualifications From Employment

The Commission which is currently under the leadership of Dr. Nancy Macharia as the serving Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has been working hard to streamline the teaching profession.

In a bid to fully implement Competence Based Curriculum (CBC), TSC ordered all P1 teachers to go back to class for enrollment of Teacher Program Development (TPD) courses.

According to TSC, all teachers are expected to be Competence Based Curriculum (CBC) complaint for them to be effective and efficient in service delivery.

Following the directive, it is now a big blow to P1 teachers as after TSC confirmed plans to lock out teachers with certificate qualifications from employment opportunities.

This comes barely few days after unemployed P1 teachers are reported to have already enrolled for the TPD Module courses in selected tertiary institutions.
