schools in kenya had just concluded for their second term in their school calendar but today, in the presidential address on the covid-19 situation, the president has issued directives, among them the physical closure on universities and collegies. This signals that those students who are on holiday may not resume as expected in order to curb the spread of the deadiliest third wave covid-19.Kenya has been hit hard by the third wave covid 19 from as low as 2% in the month of february to as high as 22% for the last three weeks. The students have only been in school for only three months from yet another closure of more than eight months. The opening of schools for third term will entirely depend on how the measures put in place by the kenyan president will take root and hinder further spread.Othewise the worst case scenerio is having the students out of school for long there by jeorpadizing the school calendar .
