Taita Taveta university is a public university located in Taita Taveta county. The university used to be the constituent college of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology since 2007 to 2016 prior to getting its own chatter.
The university is a pioneer of Mining and processing engineering in the East and Central Africa. The university also offers bachelors degrees in various faculties running from Agriculture, business, information technology and mathematics. They also offer diplomas and masters programmes.
On Friday 23 September 2022 they will be holding there 6th graduation ceremony in there university pavilion. This marks the first physical graduation since the outbreak of covid 19 in the year 2020. Hundreds of students will be graduating on this year.
I take this opportunity to welcome all the people to this university on Friday so that we can celebrate together.
