For the last few days in the country, there have been plenty of excitement especially for men after it was speculated that there is now a home DNA test kit. It was said that the kit was very much affordable as it's price was quoted to be between Ksh. 750 to Ksh. 800.
Well, many men had been prepared to flock supermarkets to go for the DNA test kits so that they test whether the kids they are taking care off at home are actually theirs or not but today, that kind of happiness was cut short after Kenyans woke up to the latest news from the Daily Nation to the Nation.
According to reports, Ksh. 800 will get you DNA collection kit and not test results. It is said that for the actual DNA test, the collected sample has to be taken to a lab where the testing fee is a minimum of Ksh. Ksh. 15,000.
