Othaya Boys High School is still in a sad moment after one of the brightest student,Katali Mutinda , suddenly dies. Katali collapsed on his way back to school on Tuesday, July 27, after the July holiday.
“The deceased was a Form Four student at the Othaya constituency ”,confirmed principal Waititu.
Mutinda collapsed on his way back to school on Tuesday, July 27, after the July holiday. He was then rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital-Othaya Annex by a good samaritan where he was pronounced dead.
“His body was then transferred to Consolata Nursing Home for preservation”, a source confirmed. Mutinda was known as a humble, hardworking and visionary student.
His death was a big loss to his family, which is reportedly living in serous poverty. Before his death,his education was being sponsored by Equity Bank. Mutinda's mother is also undergoing some health complications. “Mutinda's siblings were too dependent on well wishers for school fees and their basic needs”. Added the source.
