Bad News To Kenyan Teachers As KNUT Wilson Sossion Reveals The Secret Behind His Resignation

Wilson Sossion discusses why he resigned from the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT). This comes as teachers across the country have been opposing the Teachers Service Commission's demand that all teachers attend Shs 6000 refresher courses.

In fact, the Ministry of Education is now working hard to guarantee that the Competency Based Curriculum is properly implemented and that the 2021 academic calendar is completed as requested by education stakeholders.

Teachers, on the other side, have received bad news, with former KNUT Secretary-General Wilson Sossion revealing the reason for his resignation. Actually, former KNUT Secretary-General Wilson Sossion alleges that he was about to be re-elected as Secretary-General of the Kenya National Organization of Teachers when the President announced his intention to abolish the union.

Sossion indicated that he was running a union that was financially depleted and had lost membership, making it extremely difficult for him to run the organization. Collins Oyuu was appointed in Wilson Sossion's place when he resigned from the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT). This appears to be bad news for teachers around the country.
