Fredrick Mwangi, a teacher at a local Kenyan school caused drama in court on Thursday 30th September 2021 after he broke down and started crying as a ruling was being made against him. The teacher disrupted the court functions as the judge had to wait for him to finish shedding tears.
The man's lawyer was told by the Judge to help his client cool down so as the judgment is made. It is said that the man went home one day and forcefully slept with the young girl who she was taking care of, the girl had been sent away from school when the man purposely did the act on her.
Recapping the incident, the young girl said that the teacher got home and found her alone, she was busy sweeping the compound when he forced himself on her, his wife had gone to school and his children were away. He then put her on the bed, closed her mouth to prevent any noise, and threatened to beat her up in case she did not behave by telling others what had transpired.
Since she feared what might happen to her the girl chose to remain silent overall issues. It was later noticed that the man first slept with the young girl in 2015 but nobody knew about it. Later in 2016, the man slept with the girl severally till he was caught in the wrong.
