Initially, professor Kibwana had intended to vie for Presidency in the coming general election before dropping his ambitions.
Speaking to Citizen TV, he said he has walked the journey of liberation with Raila to reclaim the country from one party state.
This according to him is why he is comfortable with the ODM Leader than any other presidential candidate.
"We share the journey of the second liberation of reclaiming freedom from the one party state with Raila. This is where we were comfortable because of how Raila stood in support of the constitution and devolution" he said.
Kivutha revealed that the ODM leader at some point taught Engineering at the University of Nairobi but he didn't do it for long because of his activism.
On how he arrived at the decision to back Raila, Kivutha said he consulted his family and other leaders who advised him to join Azimio.
DP you think Kivutha's decision is the best? Feel free to share your thoughts and comments on this on our comments platform.
