The teachers employer introduced the Teachers Performance and Development Tool (TPAD) as a way of tracking teachers performance. Since last year, they did away with manual filling of the form and now it's purely done online by appraiser and appraisee as it awaits to be countersigned at end of term.
Some teachers have been having hard time in online filling but the employer gave out calendar of events that need to be followed in filling of the important tool though others did it earlier up to 100% for this term.
The teachers should therefore know that, the lesson observation should only be done within the 2nd and 10th of every term following the new calendar. The appraisers who are mostly deputies in schools should therefore plan it and ensure this is done within the scheduled time as most of the dates are clear on the time and dates when it's done and filled online.
Therefore, both teachers and the appraiser should be keen and ensure they follow the calendar well to avoid late rush of filling that may saw a teacher penalized by employer especially for those attending promotion interviews.
