University of Nairobi latest statement from it's senate has left Students disturbed majority of them arguing that it is not ethical for an institution to make such a decision in favor of the institution and not students.
The Institution has claimed that it is going to deregister those students who have overstayed in the institution.
Prof. Julius Ogeng'o Deputy Vice Chamcellor for Academic Affairs in the University argued basing on section 2.7.2 of school guidelines, at least four categories of Leaders would be deregistered from the institution.
These groups includes; Students whose studentship has expired, Those students who has been terminated by expulsion or discontinuation, those students with unexplained failures to transit to subsequent levels and finally those who interrupted their studentship by temporary withdrawal, deferment or suspension.
However, this has left most students from the University worrying and reacting.
