Taita Taveta University is a top growing university which is located along the Voi Mwatate road. This university began as the constituent college of JKUAT in 2008 and in 2016 it was given a university charter. The school is led by Vice Chancellor Barasa.
In this article we are going to focus on the mining department.
Kenyan Centre for Mining Environmental Engineering and Resource Management (CEMEREM) was established in 2016.

The project was sponsored by University of Applied Sciences Dresden and Technical University of Freiburg.

There main aim was to establish a DAAD African Centre of Excellence on Mining, Environmental Science and Resource Management between Germany and Kenya.

Taita Taveta University was chosen because within this county there is a number of unique minerals.

MSC Mining Engineering
MSC Process Engineering
MSC Environmental Engineering
The least grade that you should have is a B minus to undertake an undergraduate programme.
